This policy explains what QuizeGpt collects, why, and your choices. We designed QuizeGpt to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• What you capture: the region of the screen you select (or the page you snap) and any text it contains, so we can answer your question.
• Account data: your email and sign‑in identifier.
• Usage data: counts of questions asked (to enforce quotas) and basic, content‑free analytics to keep the Service reliable.
• Payment data: handled entirely by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. We do not store your card details.

We do not collect your browsing history, and we do not use advertising trackers or session replay.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

QuizeGpt's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We collect only data strictly necessary for the single purpose of capturing a question and returning an explanation.

AI subprocessors

To generate answers we send the captured question (image and/or text) to our AI providers — currently OpenAI and Anthropic — under agreements that prohibit training on your data. We do not use the Google Gemini API. Screenshots are deleted after processing unless you explicitly save a question.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as Merchant of Record and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy.

Retention & your rights

Screenshots are not retained by default. Saved questions remain until you delete them. You can export or delete all your data from your account or by emailing us; deletion completes within 7 days. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data.

Minors

We ask your age at sign‑up and apply age‑appropriate protections. Users under 13 require verifiable parental consent (not yet available; under‑13 accounts are blocked until then).
